About the Author;

For more than four decades, Rene Thibault worked as a commercial illustrator of architecture, concurrent with over thirty years as a fine artist working in acrylics and watercolors. He holds a four year Diploma of Applied Arts from the Alberta College of Art and Design. He also holds elected memberships with the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour, the Federation of Canadian Artists, and the Society of Canadian Artists. Though retired from a career in architectural illustration, Rene Thibault continues to actively paint and exhibit his watercolors and acrylics. He has been the recipient of many exhibition awards, both nationally and internationally. His paintings are displayed on his website at www.renethibault.com . The author lives in Calgary, Alberta, where he shares life's moments with his wife Jean.
